  5. Providers and workers must quickly address any concerns that could affect the quality or safety of support to people with disabilities.
  6. Providers and workers must take all steps to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disability.
  7. NDIS service providers and workers must take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct involving people with disability.


How to Apply for NDIS?

1. Complete an Access Request Form ( NDIS Application )

2. Get your evidence

When you apply, you must also send evidence to prove:

  • your age
  • you are an Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • you live in Australia permanently
  • your disability.

3. You can submit your form and evidence:

who is eligible for NDIS?

Age requirements:

  1. If you have a child under the age of 9, learn more about the support available to them.
  2. You must be under 65 to access the NDIS. You may be able to access other supports.
  3. If you are 65 and over you may be able to access other supports.

Residence requirements:

Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or Protected Special Category Visa holder and living in Australia.

Disability requirements:

  2. It is available to people who have a disability caused by a permanent impairment.
