Dry Cleaning Services

Our Superb Attention to Detail Means No Spot or Stain is Missed

Some garments require that little extra tender loving care and attention to clean. In these situations, where your clothing is a little more valuable or delicate, we always recommend that you use Crisp Laundry dry cleaning service.

Just like the other laundry services we provide, our dry cleaning is guaranteed to be fast, effective and convenient for your everyday life. We understand how important some of your garments are to you and we take pride in caring for them as if they were our own.

The Crisp Laundry Dry Cleaning Process

After you have placed your order in our user-friendly online booking system, your dry cleaning will be collected from your chosen location and delivered to our experienced team of dry cleaners.

Before your clothes go through the main cleaning process, the staff at Crisp Laundry will do a full inspection for any stains. If you know the cause of the stains on your clothes, please let us know – This will help us treat them in the best possible way. Whether it’s a rust stain, food stain or glue stain, our team will use a combination of hot steam and chemicals to break off and remove any stains during the dry cleaning process.

If stains won’t come out, even after repeated cleaning, we stop treating them to avoid permanent damage to your clothing

After removing the stains, our team of dry cleaners will inspect your clothing for the last time, press and then hand finish before preparing them for delivery.

FAQs

Dry cleaners use very large and technically advanced computer-controlled Dry Cleaning machine.

A dry cleaning service will clean your clothes without using a traditional washing machine. Many people don’t want to risk damaging expensive or fragile clothing by placing them in a washing machine with a standard load.

Many materials can be damaged by water exposure, especially while spinning around at high speeds inside a washing machine. Some examples include:

  • Wool
  • Silk
  • Leather
  • Suede
  • Cashmere
  • Acrylic
  • Denim
  • Viscose

This is where we ( dry cleaners ) come in, as we provide an alternative option that doesn’t rely on water.

So, what is dry cleaning? Well, the term can be slightly misleading as the clothes don’t stay dry, despite what the name suggests.

The key difference is that with a traditional wash, soap and water are the cleaning agents. With dry cleaning, non-water liquid solvents clean the fabrics mixed with special detergent. Although different solvents exist, the most common example is perchloroethylene (perc for short).

The Process

Now that we know where the term comes from, we can delve into the  process. Commercial dry cleaners typically offer the same type of services involving the following stages:

  • Inspection and tagging
  • Pre- and post-spotting ( stain removal )
  • The cleaning processes
  • Finishing touches
